Our Founders
Rayan Ali holds a BBA in Finance
from New York University, and a Juris Doctorate and
Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University's School
of Law and School of Business, respectively. Prior to co-founding BasMD, Rayan was Senior
Vice President of the Conner Law Center, P.C.; legal counsel to the FBI;
a certified contract negotiator; Chief Arbitrator for the Fulton
County Superior Courts; and drafted contracts for the 1996 Paralympic
Games. As an attorney, he specialized in asset protection; business, tax
and estate planning; charitable giving; and contracts. He is a frequent
speaker for businesses, institutions and organizations, and served as
President of the American Institute of Wealth Preservation Attorneys.
Rayan will lead our firm’s efforts in his areas of specialty, which
include buy-in and buy-out agreements, tax, business & employment
laws, and litigation support. He is a member of the American, Georgia,

Edmund Nosegbe holds a BBA in
Finance from Howard University. Prior to co-founding BasMD,
he was a senior Auditor in the audit practice of a big 5 accounting
firm, served as Controller and Director of Finance for the 1996
Paralympic Games, and was founder/CEO of TransAtlantc Imports, Inc., a
specialty beverage import and marketing company. Edmund has more than
ten years experience in assisting medical practice start-ups,
expansions, strategic planning and management. As a Certified Public
Accountant, he leads our firm’s efforts in his areas of
specialization, which includes practice establishment and expansion
assistance, medical practice management, practice valuation, strategic
business planning, controllership, operational auditing and general
business management. He is a member of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPA’s.
